As you might already know, Android already has a lot of different ways for users to type in Braille but now Google is taking that big step further as Android 13 will now begin offering support [Out of the box] for Braille displays through the Talkback screen reader. So users won’t really have to install the Braille back app to use physical input instead of the virtual keyboard.

Users will get access to a lot of the Talkback features, whether to navigate the interface or for common tasks like sending text messages and new shortcuts are also aimed very specifically at Braille displays, like jumping to the next line in a document or copying text.
There’s Braille display support software update will arrive in the next Android 13 beta in a few weeks. The move will really help people with blindness used their phones without using voice commands, which is kind of clunky at a lot of times.
