With the probably unlimited number of Kid titles on Netflix, it’s very overwhelming for parents or children to actually pick a show. But this new mystery box feature Netflix just brought out really helps kids as it will leave the decisions totally up to the algorithm.
This feature is very similar to the play something option for the adult option on Netflix. This new feature will also pick a new paddle that viewers haven’t watched before. Also, the show or film the algorithm would select will totally be similar shows to watch the viewers have previously deemed favorites.
To try out this feature, you have to select a kid profile on Netflix on any platform, then go to favorites row and on top of the home page you’ll be able to hover over the mystery box option to see a selection of great new titles that you will be recommended.
