As we all know, Facebook just started renaming itself and its products after it switched its name and its motto, to better align with its goals for the future, that is the Metaverse. As they had changed their name, their sub-brands and services like Oculus Quest and Facebook Portal devices are now known as Meta Quest and Meta Portal.

In the midst of all of the renaming of every service the company makes, it’s also very natural for the company to change the payment experience of the future as they continue to expand into the Metaverse. And that is why they just renamed Facebook Pay to Meta Pay.
According to Stephane Kasriel, the company’s head of fintech services just said that “Meta is in the very early stages of scoping out what a single wallet experience might look like.” Less Facebook name changes signify her very new era for the company. That is changing the future of VR and the mirrors and it hasn’t been smooth sailing for the Internet giant as the meter reality labs division of the company that serves as home to the hardware the company makes lost $10 billion.
