Twitter is now announcing a new service that will allow you to tweet to followers you select in the future. They call it ‘Twitter Circle’, This feature will allow you to limit tweets to a group of fewer than 150 people [Although this number could potentially change]
This is very inclined to the ‘Close Friends’ feature already available on Instagram Stories right now. Also, these features are already available to a small group of users worldwide, it’s not clear if or when Twitter will expand [Although it depends on the feedback they receive] This feature will help Twitter compete with Instagram and other services that let you be more selective about content sharing, helping you protect your privacy without resorting to direct messages or a small follower list.
