For a while now, Microsoft has always consistently tried to get people to use Edge. They pursued a lot of different ways, but it has been less well-received by a lot of people. But their latest effort to make more people use the browser could be very useful, as this addition could allow a lot of people to use this browser. They are adding a free built-in VPN service called Edge Secure Network to their web browser.

This tool will encrypt your Internet connection and you’ll be able to use the functionality to protect your data from your ISP [Internet service provider] You’ll also be able to use the VPN to mask your location, making it possible to access services that might otherwise be blocked in the country where you live. Currently, this feature limits users up to 1 gigabyte of data usage per month [Although it could increase as it’s currently only available to the Canary version of Edge and things could change anytime] it’s also worth noting that you’ll need a Microsoft account to use this service.
[Although I am already an avid Edge user, It’s based on Chromium and you could just switch the default search engine and tweak a couple of settings and it’s even better than Chrome]
