If you are still waiting for an extra dose of Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red just revealed that an upcoming expansion for the sci-fi game is coming sometime in 2023. CDPR said that you’ll be able to expect more news about this add-on later this year. The company didn’t share much about what the new content will entail, but the Pawel Sasko said that they would ensure that the expansion was properly crafted. [They probably tried to say there won’t be more bugs]
These plans make sense considering the success the game has had. Although the RPG was very buggy on launch and was even the subject of an investor lawsuit, it still has remained a very strong seller in the market as the company has sold 18 million copies as of this month. An expansion will help maintain the momentum and deliver great sales.
