People have been using social media as a news source for years, and as you can see, a lot of news publishers, including ourselves, mostly post on social media websites, so you can be updated at all times. Snapchat just launched a great new dynamic story feature that allows news media outlets automatically share news articles as stories on the Discover platform through the existing RSS feeds they have.

Well, no one actually will have to go ahead and create app-friendly content for people. Well, in basic terms, this means you’ll be able to be updated at all times directly through the Snapchat app. Currently, the initial partners include major publications like The Washington Post, The Independent, Le Figaro, and Vogue. This format doesn’t support video but it could in the future.
This isn’t much of a direct moneymaker for Snapchat, however. That’s not the actual point of this, What they’re doing is they’re giving publishers a stronger incentive to share news on Snapchat by reducing hassle, and more importantly, it will keep users glued to Snapchat if new news arrives sooner on Snapchat.
