Twitter will soon let you unmention yourself to leave conversations.

Twitter just added a great new feature this week, as the social media company is now rolling out an unmentioned feature that lets you remove yourself from a conversation. This feature currently is limited only to the web for now, but you just have to choose “leave this conversation” to avoid notifications.

This feature is available for some people out there today, but Twitter says that it’s not clear when this feature would be widely available, or when it might reach mobile apps.Because the company is already tested and deployed, a lot of features have already to keep mentioned several including an anti-harassment safety mode that automatically blocks mean users.

This gives Twitter users more control over participation, leading posers to focus on the chats that they care about.
