Doom NOW HAS ray-tracing after being modded.

It’s been nearly 30 years since Doom’s 1993 release, People are still trying to make the game usable and playable according to today’s standards. A modder [Sultim-t] released Doom Ray Traced last week. This project from Sultim adds real-time path tracing to Doom and many levels do have a sense of atmosphere the game did not have before. It’s all truly great to see how an individual modded the game to be a lot better.

Unfortunately, this version of Doom is not really playable on some computers as only NVIDIA GPUs can run the mod, with support for AMD video cards not offered at the moment.
