Kia just announced that road-ready versions of the Kia Concept EV9 will be available in Europe in 2023. Although Kia did not mention any launches in North America or any other regions, we are not sure why Kia chose to make this decision.

Kia did not say what would change in the transition from concept to production, like what parts they would swap out for actual working ones in the real world. Although we are sure of the features like the yoke wheel, giant wheels, retractable roof rails, and lounge-like seating modes. There could also be a 27-inch display and a hood-mounted solar panel.
A lot of specifications that Kia boasted of could be preserved in their production EV9, The concept Kia revealed promised up to 300 miles of range and a 350kW Fast charging that would take it from a 10% charge to 80% in 30 minutes. Kia also detailed a feature called “AutoMode”, basically Autonomous Technology for the EV9 that will take over from the driver on the highway, just like Tesla Autopilot.

We still don’t know a lot of information about the Kia EV9, like the pricing although we are sure that this could be the most important EV in their lineup. The Kia EV9 would be a very competitive car. Competing with the Tesla Model Y and the Volkswagen ID4.
