Netflix’s latest price hikes in the US are starting to come into effect. Netflix subscribers have already been contacted and informed the company is changing the price of their plan, starting with their next billing cycle. Some users have already seen their bills increase.
Netflix alerted subscribers to their price increases sometime near the end of January. The basic plan now costs $9.99 per month (previously $8.99), the standard tier is now $15.49 per month (previously $13.99) and the 4K tier costs $19.99 (previously $17.99)

Netflix already said that they are continuously increasing their price gradually relative to the value they provide (Which is them getting back the money they spend truckloads on, to bring content out). Also, because they are working on an ad-supported tier (That I am all in for, can’t wait to get stuff for free) Although they did not indicate that they are planning to do so anytime soon, They do have to get money for that content from somewhere and that is why they are increasing the prices. According to their initial announcement, Netflix did say that the subscribers will be notified by email 30 days before their price changes would arrive.
