GIFs Were first invented in 1987, but in a lot of ways, it’s becoming a very widespread and popular thing in the community today. It’s very hard for people to settle on one way to pronounce GIFs but Anyways, it is a thing that we all use day to day on Twitter at least.

If you are an avid Twitter user, the company is now making it easier for you to create and share those clips in GIFs. They just updated their iOS app to include a GIF capture feature. To enable it, open the camera module and swipe to GIF to record your clip.
You can see the feature in action in the tweet where Twitter announced its availability. Currently, this feature is only available on iOS, But the company says that they will gather feedback from the iOS user and will make it available to Android in a future update.
