Microsoft’s AI-powered smart camera JUST LAUNCHED for the Surface Hub 2

Microsoft just launched its first AI-powered camera for the Surface Hub for businesses. Companies using the surface hub as devices at their offices will now be able to upgrade their camera capabilities with the new Surface Hub 2 smart camera. The Smart Camera supports automatic re-framing, a wide field of view, and image correction features that will improve meetings.

Steven Bathiche (Corporate vice president of Windows) Said that the smart camera reframes adjust lighting and enables incredibly wide angles of view without any warping, distortions, or depth of field issues that could limit what is visible. They also said that the team put in tremendous work into tuning the experience to capture and frame what is occurring in the room while being smooth and natural for remote viewers or participants. The very smart camera has a 12-megapixel camera sensor with a 136-degree field of view and 1 teraflop of Compute Power (Good early so much more powerful than the original Xbox 360) Microsoft says that they are using this power and combination with an algorithm that they developed that automatically compensates for distortions, tilt and wide-angle corrections to ensure objects stay true to life.

Personally speaking, with all that I know about this camera right now. This is a bang on camera that Microsoft made and I love it and I’d love to get it if I could.

The Surface Hub 2 Smart Camera attaches to the top of a Surface Hub 2 with a magnetic click and the USB C mount. The camera is designed for the surface hub two and will be sold separately at $799 (which is kind of expensive In my perspective, But it is also very much feature-packed, so that’s that) It also comes with the 85-inch Surface Hub 2S on May 31st for $21,999.99 (Expensive for us, but it is a worthy upgrade for businesses)
