The iPhone 14 Pro could be the only device with the A16 Bionic.

The upcoming iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max could be the only models in the upcoming lineup that could have an A16 bionic chip. According to a Tweet by Ming-Chi Kuo, They indicated that all the standard iPhone 14 and 14 Max will be left with the previous A15 chipset that comes in all of the models in the current iPhone 13 lineup. They also say that every iPhone 14 model will come with 6GB of RAM as default with the two higher-end devices featuring upgraded LPDDR 5 memory, which is a lot faster and a lot more expensive.

The iPhone 14 Max will get a 6.7” display marking the first time that a Pro-size display is available in a cheaper, non-Pro phone. Also, Apple is probably discontinuing the “mini” size. Although Apple still hasn’t announced the iPhone 14 lineup they are expected to make the debut at an upcoming event normally held in the fall. Even though we haven’t even come anywhere near the launch event, There are still a lot of rumors including a notch-less iPhone 14 with the punch hole camera in Face ID hardware hidden under the screen.

Although on the Mac side, the MacBook Air will come with a new M2 chip with three other MacBooks joining the feast. The M2 chip could potentially be based on the iPhone 13’s A15 chip — not the rumored A16.
