Sony and Honda Well, now start to design and Market electric vehicles together. This is not final but they aim to make a joint venture and start selling vehicles by 2025. The entire idea is fueled by the fact that Honda is an expert in the vehicle side and Sony is better on the infotainment, mobile, and image sensor side and that is why Honda will design, create and market the first model, and Sony will create the Mobility service platform.

Honda CEO Toshihiro Mibe said that Sony and Honda are companies that share many historical and cultural similarities, and the areas of technological expertise are very different. They also said that they believed this alliance would bring together the strengths of the two companies To make the best possible product.

This Venture will help Honda to achieve their goal of shifting the entirety of its lineup to EVs by 2040. Sony said that this partnership would “fill the world with emotion through the power of creativity and technology.” That likely means you can expect high-tech interiors and fancy entertainment systems designed to help you forget that you’re stuck in rush-hour traffic. It added that it wants to create a mobility system “centered around safety, entertainment, and adaptability.”

This news is not completely shocking as Sony has already expressed their interest in the EV market by already showing two electric vehicles of their design, the Vision S and the Vision S 02.
