Break’s over, Apple asks employees to get to the office by mid-April

Employees working at Apple will have to make a return to the office soon. Tim Cook said that the workers should be in the office at least every one day every week from April 11th. Workers will have to be in the office two days a week at a minimum from May 2nd, they will have to work from the office at least on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays as of May 23rd.

Tim Cook wrote in the memo, “In the coming weeks and months, we have an opportunity to combine the best of what we have learned about working remotely with the irreplaceable benefits of in-person collaboration. It is as important as ever that we support each other through this transition, through the challenges we face as a team and around the world.”

Apple has been trying to bring all of their employees to the offices since June but they had to get rid of these plans because of many COVID surges. Apple has also made it optional for vaccinated corporate employees to wear masks in regions where they’re no longer required by local regulators earlier this week.
