Yesterday, The Apple Keynote event was held at 10:30 pm IST, and I watched it all for you! And I expect you to take a moment to appreciate this effort. They did reveal a lot of stuff that’s going to change. Here’s how it went.
#1. Introduced Apple Airtags

Airtags are products that act like a key finder. AirTags as a feature supported in the “Find My”, previously “Find My iPhone” user interface. It uses the sensors on an iPhone, Sound, locational tracking of the Airtag and the Compass to help you find any thing you hook it up to. These Airtags cost $29 a pop and come in a pack of four costing $99.
#2. Podcast App Redesign.
Previously, Apple Podcasts used to be integrated into iTunes, but they made it a seperate application in 2012. Now they’ve come up with a new better redesign of the App.
#3. Apple TV 4k.
The Apple TV 4K was also revealed in the event, it featured the A12 chip of the iPhone X. Still a pretty good chip for a TV. It had a different way of integrating more with other Apple Products and also featured a new redesigned Apple SIRI Remote too.
#4. Mac Silicon M1(MacBook Pro, Air,etc)

These guys revealed previous year that they were leaving Intel to make in-house M1 chips to get the full potential of their devices.
So, now they come up with the MacBook Pro and Air, with the M1 chips. Giving out more power, in a smaller formfactor.
#5. New Range of iMac’s (24″) .
The new range of I Mac’s, powered by the M1, which are Smaller (due to M1) and more powerful, colourful.

These come in 24″ versions and are a huge step up in terms of design, power and formfactor. Better Design, a hell lot powerful and smaller than ever.
#6. iPad Pro Stuff
M1 integrated into the iPad, Display borrowed from Pro Display XDR (that’s what they said), with a better Camera, has actual 5G (millimiter waves), etc. Prices are 1099$ for the Pro and 799$ for the Standard one
#7. The Purple iPhone.
The iPhone 12 was also introduced in a new colour, Purple. It’s looking good but it’s the least major stuff of the Event
Overall Summary.
There were a lot of major changes we saw here. But the most significant one was the M1 thing. Designing a CPU chip in-house was always going to be beneficial, but Apple took the right step at the right time.
The great new design of the I Mac was just because of calling it quits with Intel. So yeah, they did the right thing.
