Cybertruck’s Off-Roading Woes: Stuck, Spinning, and Tree-Hugging

Tesla’s Cybertruck has captured imaginations with its sharp angles and futuristic design. But for a growing number of videos online, the image seems to be cracking – literally in some cases. The latest incident shows a Cybertruck struggling mightily, and ultimately failing, to climb a snowy hill.

The video, shared on YouTube channel YotaFam Adventures, takes place at Hidden Falls Adventure Park, a popular off-roading spot near Tesla’s Cybertruck factory in Texas. What should have been a casual climb for a truck designed for rugged terrain, quickly turned into a comedy of errors.

The footage shows the Cybertruck with a Christmas tree precariously balanced in its bed. As it attempts to climb the snowy hill, the wheels spin uselessly, digging the truck further into the incline. Instead of conquering the terrain, the Cybertruck ends up in an unwelcome embrace with a small tree.

Fortunately, the incident wasn’t a total disaster. Another vehicle, presumably with a winch, was able to tow the Cybertruck to safety. But the video has become another entry in a growing collection of online content showcasing the Cybertruck’s struggles on off-road adventures.

This latest mishap adds fuel to the fire for critics who question Tesla’s claims about the Cybertruck’s off-road prowess. While Tesla boasts of the truck’s capabilities, these online videos paint a different picture.

The question remains: are these incidents simply driver error, or do they expose a chink in the Cybertruck’s off-road armor? Only time, and perhaps more off-roading adventures (hopefully with a winch handy), will tell.
