Amazon has now partnered with Snapchat to offer AR shopping

For a time now, Snap has been employing Snapchat lenses to enable users to digitally try on clothing, and the business has partnered with yet another esteemed partner. Customers will soon have the option to view eyeglasses styles from Amazon Fashion on their faces before placing an order.

By using the Lens Explorer (under the For You and Dress Up tabs) or the Snapchat Camera Lens Carousel, you may test out these augmented reality lenses. You can also visit the @amazonfashion profile. You can browse a large selection of eyewear styles on the Shop area of the Amazon Fashion profile and possibly purchase some. The businesses developed 3D asset standards that are compatible with Snap’s AR Try-On technology. They are able to provide Snapchat users with dynamically updated information, such as an up-to-date selection of eyeglasses, product specifications, and availability, using Amazon’s 3D Asset technology and lenses. Amazon will therefore be able to update the lenses in real time with that information if a product’s price changes or it sells out.

You will be able to virtually try on eyeglasses from companies like Costa Del Mar, Maui Jim, Persol, and Oakley. Future plans for the relationship between Snap and Amazon include adding other apparel categories.
