More nations, including the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore, now offer Google Play Games on PC. According to The Verge, there are 85 games available on Google Play, but Google intends to add more. Just Dance Now, WWE SuperCard, and Cookie Run: Kingdom are all on the schedule. Those are certainly noteworthy games, but Netflix and Apple Arcade likely have more potent offerings. The initiative to make Google Play Games available on Windows is independent of Microsoft’s push to make Android apps available on Windows 11. (which features apps from the Amazon Appstore). Google created the Google Play Games app, for starters. Maybe Google’s game endeavour will succeed better than Stadia did.
